The objective of our facilities ministry is to keep all the physical aspects of our church complex in good condition so that our members and guests will have an attractive and comfortable place in which to worship.

The intent of the facilities ministry is to improve and maintain the buildings and grounds at the Whittier Church of Christ in a manner that will enhance the quality of worship for both our regular members and our guests.  While “bricks and mortar” do not constitute a Church, we believe that providing comfortable and attractive facilities will assist us in reaching out to the members of our community as well as being an asset to our immediate neighbors. 

For those interested in serving in this ministry, following skills and abilities are needed:

• Carpentry
• Painting
• Electrical
• Plumbing
• Landscape maintenance
• General cleaning and maintenance
• Maintenance of  fire sprinklers and fire extinguishers
• Elevator maintenance
• Lock maintenance and repair
• Decorating
