The
purpose of our Outreach ministry is very literally to reach out to
those who come into contact with our church both in our community
and via the World Wide Web.
We aim to offer anyone who’s interested the
opportunity to establish a lasting and memorable relationship with
our church family.
We respect your privacy. Correspondence, phone
calls, invitations to church events, Bible studies, and small prayer
groups are only extended if you provide us with your contact
information. Any information that you do provide to us will be
safeguarded and treated in the same regard as we would our own
personal address books.
Our
desire is to encourage our visitors to come into a saved
relationship with Jesus Christ and to offer the safety and security
that comes along with belonging to the family of believers who
worship at the Whittier Church of Christ. We can’t fulfill our
mission if our exuberance scares people off. We’re not here to
recruit you…only to serve as a shining example of Christian love and
Godly living.
We
understand that if our congregation feels like a good fit…you’ll be
back. We place our trust in God and rest assured that as long as we
provide a welcome environment that feeds your soul and spirit, he
will lead you back to our family.
